Dance

DANCE is a key component of The Willows Performing Arts Program for Upper Elementary and Middle School. Students of all skill level and experience participate in dance through weekly P.E. classes or electives. Dance projects and performances are integrated into school life in numerous ways. Dancers collaborate with music students who sing or play instruments and with arts students who create costumes. Willows dance students perform at special school functions, community events, and at the annual Celebration of Dance held in the spring which features Willows students and the Willows Alumni Dance Troupe.

Drama

DRAMA and performance opportunities are carefully integrated into classroom curriculum with the goal of promoting self-expression, confidence, and cooperation. Our program is designed to spark the imagination and recognize each child’s creative voice. Three Middle School theater productions are presented each year as part of the curriculum in our state-of-the-art black box theater or larger gymnasium stage.
