Reinventing Mathematics Education Symposium@The Willows on January 4, 2016

The Reinventing Mathematics Education conference, a collaboration between The Willows and Constructing Modern Knowledge, features keynotes, panel discussions, and hands-on sessions with international mathematics experts Conrad Wolfram, physicist, mathematician, and Co-founder/CEO of the Wolfram companies;  Dr. Ilana Horn, Associate Professor, Department of Teaching and Learning at Vanderbilt University; and Dr. Constance Kamii, professor of early childhood education at the University of Alabama, Birmingham.  Gary Stager, Ph.D., author of "Invent to Learn" and Willows Special Assistant to the Head of School for Innovation, is the host for the event.

Format for the Day:

9:00 - 10:30 a.m.           Opening Keynote by the Featured Speakers
10:30 - 12:00 p.m.         First Breakout Hands-on Session
12:00 - 1:00 p.m.           Lunch
1:00 - 2:30 p.m.             Second Breakout Hands-on Session
2:45 - 3:45 p.m.             Closing Panel Discussion with Featured Speakers

Each participant will be able to choose two workshops featuring the featured speakers and other leading educators.

Early-bird registration of $320 per person (includes lunch) by November 1st
Regular registration of $390 (includes lunch) after November 1st
Team discount - $1,500 for 6 registrants by November 1 and $1,950 for 6 registrants after November 1
