Willows Parent Association (WPA)
Get Involved!
The Willows Parent Association (WPA) generates constant community spirit! Parents are an integral part of life at The Willows. Inclusive, hard-working, and devoted, our parent volunteers enhance every corner of our campus with optimism and resilience. They represent the very best of giving and serve as shining role models for their children.
The WPA is a service and social-oriented organization dedicated to celebrating our children and our school and to enriching the educational experience of our students. Each parent is automatically a member of the Willows Parent Association (WPA). Working closely with our administration and faculty, The WPA volunteers support the operations of The Willows and participate in various fundraising, programmatic, service, and social events dedicated to advancing our mission and uniting our community in friendship.
Parents may become involved and apply their talents, skills, and special interests in numerous ways, both large and small, to contribute to the life of our school. From serving as a room-parent, assisting with hot lunch, fundraising for a portion of each year’s operating budget, designing the yearbook, working with the teachers on community service projects, chaperoning a field trip, or helping in the library, volunteerism enhances every aspect of life at The Willows.
Parents serve as WPA co-chairs, committee chairs, room parents, and volunteers. Events, programs, or projects created or implemented by the WPA include Cultural Programming, Community Service Learning, Pacific Park Pier Party, Book Fair, Jog-a-thon, and the Annual Auction.
The WPA involvement adds enormously to the unique spirit of our community.
The WPA plays a vital role in the life and community of The Willows, and each level of volunteerism is deeply appreciated.
