Admissions Process

Middle School Process

1. Attend a Middle School Open House

The Open House is a required component of our admissions process, for parents as well as for prospective students. It’s a terrific opportunity to see The Willows in action –- you’ll visit our state-of-the-art facilities and meet with our Head of School to learn about the school’s program and philosophy. You’ll also hear directly from teachers about the curriculum. While parents tour the school, students participate in a “mini-day” at The Willows, attending four short classes that give them the feel for the school and its philosophy.

The open houses are on Saturday mornings from 9:00-12pm. (October 19th and November 16th) Reservations are required. Please complete our inquiry form to request an open house. After we receive the form, we will contact you to confirm the reservation. The open houses are for parents and students. If you are unable to attend either of the open houses we can arrange for a half day student visit and when you come in for an interview their is a short, student led tour of the campus. You are also welcome to join us on any of the lower school morning tours. (parents only)

2. Complete an Online Application

Please complete our online application. The application deadline for applicants to 6th-8th for the 2020-2021 school year will be January 10th, 2020. Please do not hesitate to contact us with any questions you may have. We are here to help you through the admissions process!

3. Schedule Interviews for Parents and Student

Parents and children schedule their interviews for the same day. Parents meet with Kim Feldman, Director of Enrollment Management, to discuss their children, share information, and ask questions they may have about the school. At the same time, their child meets with a senior faculty member or administrator, for a one-on-one interview and an informal assessment.
