We believe

We believe each child brings our community an extraordinary gift: a curious mind, ready to explore and eager to learn. Our mission is to grow that gift.

community voices

We are The Willows

The community. The general feeling on campus. Everybody really genuinely cares about each other here. We're all very close. Over the years, since I've been here so long, it starts to feel like a second family.

Simone Meltzer, 8th Grade Graduate

I could probably still name every one of my classmates and teachers by name. It was a very intimate experience where the teachers were able to give attention to everyone and the students were able to create strong lasting friendships.

Brycen Tremayne, Class of 2014, Stanford Graduate

The Willows feels like home, The Willows feels like a safe place. Not just for these kids but for us as teachers. We feel supported, we feel acknowledged. We feel like we've been entrusted with this great gift of being able to walk these kids through whatever years of teaching that we're given. You can see it in all of these kids. They feel safe. They feel like they are in a place where they can stretch their boundaries, where they can take risk and take chances.

Action is fundamental to learning. Deep learning occurs when children are active participants in the learning process. This philosophy is the foundation of our curriculum.Lisa Rosenstein, Head of School

The overall community and how welcoming everyone is. No one is not my friend. Everyone is always nice and kind to each other.

Maceo Meier, 8th Grade Graduate
