Library

Our entire school population, students, teachers, and parents use our library regularly. We have a strong, active parent volunteer group and a weekly Readers’ Lunch when parents and grandparents may sign up to read aloud a favorite story.

The primary goal of the library curriculum is for all students to develop a love for reading. Our librarian learns each student’s interest and reading level in order to help him or her choose appropriate books. She teaches library skills and works closely with classroom teachers to develop a library curriculum that complements the classroom curriculum. She incorporates writing, art, music, and drama to enrich each student’s experience in the library.
