Service Learning & Community Outreach

Service learning integrates community service projects with academic study to connect classroom learning with the real world. It strengthens our community and teaches civic responsibility. We guide our students out of the classroom and into the community into experiences that will give them a better understanding of the issues and challenges that all communities face. We help them to identify problems and design solutions. At the core of service learning is the intent that both providers of the service and the recipients find the experience beneficial and sometimes even transforming.
